New Stuff For Us
Hi Everybody, Hope everybody had a great long weekend. We got to do a little bit of record hunting. Here's some of the stuff we found...
I know these aren't LP's, but they looked interesting to us. Message In A Bottle: The Complete Recordings Of the Police.
Basie Jam/Montreux '75 by Count Basie, Pablo 1976.
Wade In The Water by Ramsey Lewis, Cadet 1966.
Bill Black's Combo Plays The Blues, Hi 1964.
Songs For Beginners by Graham Nash, Atlantic 1971. (Near-Mint)
Still Stills: The Best of Stephen Stills, Atlantic 1976.
Waiting For The Sun by The Doors, Elektra 1968. (1st Pressing)
A couple of Pink Floyds, Dark Side and Wish You Were Here. (Korean Pressings)
Everybody Loves Somebody by Dean Martin, Reprise 1964
An old Jimmie Rodgers album from 1963 on Dot Records. (Very good condition)
I couldn't find any information on this one, but I bought it because of the label. It's on the old King record label of Cincinnati, Ohio. While King is known for some of the early recording of some of the biggest names in R&B music, they had their start as a hillbilly label.
See What Tomorrow Brings by Peter, Paul and Mary, Warner Bros. 1965. (1st Stereo Pressing)
Three by the Righteous Bros., Soul & Inspiration (1966), Go Ahead and Cry (1966), and Sayin' Somethin' (1967). All on Verve Records.
Long Distance Voyager by The Moody Blues. Threshold 1981, Near Mint.
Excitable Boy by Warren Zevon. Asylum 1978, Near Mint.
Damn The Torpedoes by Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, a 1987 reissue on MCA. Near Mint
And, she was a personal favorite of mine, three from Charly McClain from the early 80's.
All these were found at thrift stores for .50 cents each. Have fun hunting.
